Bohnice Theatre Company

First of all, the Bohnice Theatre Company is a community: an open formation of people with a wide range of experiences, opinions and views, people with different degrees and diagnoses of mental "illness". The core of the group consists of theatre professionals and psychiatric patients (in-patients, ambulant or occasional psychiatric patients). We are enriched by students, therapists, artistic lecturers, friends, and sympathizers. Everyone can come and join us.

BTC was established in 1991 in Bohnice mental hospital in Prague. Since 1996 the theatre group has been settled in the Citadela Studio in the downtown of Prague.
